Some Bernie Sanders supporters blame ‘corporate media’ for Clinton, Trump nominations

PHILADELPHIA — Moments after the roll-call vote to nominate Hillary Clinton to be her party’s presidential candidate, several dozen Bernie Sanders supporters marched into the Democratic National Convention media tent across from the Wells Fargo Center with one simple demand: Media attention.

Several hundred reporters trained cameras and microphones on the delegates and other credentialed attendees, many of whom had gagged themselves in protest, they said, not so much of Hillary Clinton, but of the media’s campaign coverage that they felt kept thwarted what should have been Sanders’ inevitable victory.
