The Wall Street Journal: Bill Clinton, Democrats hail Hillary Clinton’s historic nomination

PHILADELPHIA — Hillary Clinton became the first female presidential nominee of any major party on Tuesday, a historic milestone capping a career of public service that has ranged from providing legal protection for children in Arkansas to serving as a U.S. senator from New York to secretary of state.

The second day of the Democratic National Convention was designed to be a reassuring one to an electorate that has watched Clinton on the national stage for more than two decades.
