The Wall Street Journal: Kidnapped mother-in-law of Formula One chief found safe in Brazil

SÃO PAULO — The kidnapped mother-in-law of billionaire Formula One chief executive Bernie Ecclestone was found unharmed Sunday by São Paulo police, after she had been missing for more than a week.

Aparecida Schunck, who was kidnapped from her home on July 22, was rescued around 6:30 p.m. local time in the city of Cotia, in Greater São Paulo, by a team of some 15 police officers, a spokesman for the anti-kidnapping division of the state police force said Sunday. Two suspects were arrested and police were still searching for other possible participants.
