Outside the Box: Khizr Khan vs. Donald Trump: Whose Constitution will Americans choose?

Khizr Khan, whose son, U.S. Army Capt. Humayun S. M. Khan, was killed in Iraq, offers to loan his copy of the U.S. Constitution to Donald Trump in a speech last week at the Democratic National Convention.

Last week’s Democratic National Convention included speeches from America’s top political leaders, but one speech by a previously unknown citizen is deservedly receiving special attention.

Khizr Khan dramatically held up a personal copy of the United States Constitution as he spoke of the heroism of his son, U.S.
