Airline Stocks: Delta offers $200 to stranded travelers — here’s when they can get more

Delta Air Lines Inc. is offering refunds and travel vouchers to passengers affected by the severe delays and cancellations Monday and Tuesday that happened due to a power outage at the carrier’s Atlanta headquarters.

The second biggest U.S. airline DAL, -0.61% canceled about 1,000 of its nearly 6,000 flights scheduled for Monday and has already said nearly 250 flights will be canceled on Tuesday as it works to “reset the operation and get crews, aircraft and other operational elements in place to take care of customers.”

Thousand of flights were delayed on Monday after a tech glitch that began around 2:30 a.m.
