Capitol Report: ‘Give me a break’: Trump dismisses Second Amendment firestorm | Deleted Clinton emails may remain secret until after election

Donald Trump is dismissing critics who accused him of using violent rhetoric against Hillary Clinton, saying he was advocating political action when he referred to “Second Amendment people” at a rally.

At a rally in North Carolina on Tuesday, Trump said “Second Amendment people” could be the way to stop Clinton from choosing judges who would threaten gun owners’ rights. The remark was interpreted by the Clinton campaign and others as suggesting violence. Trump told Fox News’ Sean Hannity “there can be no other interpretation” of his remarks other than that he was calling for political action to defeat her.
