RIO DE JANEIRO—The international track and field federation has withdrawn the eligibility of Russia’s lone track athlete at these Olympics, furthering a dramatic and prolonged legal battle over the past several months in the wake of revelations of state-sponsored doping in Russia.

The International Association of Athletics Federations said Saturday it has revoked the eligibility of Darya Klishina, a U.S.-based long jumper for Russia, who was the nation’s lone athlete to successfully appeal a ban of the entire nation’s track team from these Games.
