The real reason we don’t have taco trucks on every corner

Political debate took a culinary turn on Thursday when the founder of Latinos for Trump, Marco Gutierrez, appeared on MSNBC.

When asked what problems immigration creates in the U.S., Gutierrez, who said he is a Mexican-born immigrant to the U.S., responded that Mexican culture is “imposing”: “If you don’t do something, you’re going to have taco trucks on every corner,” he said.

On Twitter, there seemed to be a lot of support for that idea, which made #TacoTrucksOnEveryCorner a trending topic in the U.S.

Dude, so how is this a bad thing? Tacos are life. #TacoTrucksOnEveryCornerpic.twitter.com/QCthBHRiDn
