A U.S. mayor of Jewish faith and London’s history-making Sadiq Khan, the first mayor of Muslim faith of a major Western capital, talked about building political and religious bridges while crossing the Chicago River on Friday.

Khan, with Democrat Rahm Emanuel at his side, didn’t mince words in expressing his dislike of what he says is presidential nominee Donald Trump’s charged rhetoric about extremist group ISIS and mainstream Islamic observers.
