Iconic ‘Mrs. Doubtfire’ house for sale in San Francisco

The Steiner Street home in San Francisco got plenty of screen time in the 1993 movie “Mrs. Doubtfire.”

The Pacific Heights mansion in San Francisco made famous as the workplace of comedian Robin Williams’s madcap character Mrs. Doubtfire is up for sale. The price? $4.45 million.

The 3,300-square-foot Victorian-style home at 2640 Steiner St. near Broadway, and offered by broker Pacific Union International Inc., has four bedrooms and 3 ½ baths, leaded windows, hardwood floors, and a curving turreted floor plan in the living and bedroom areas — the latter featuring vaulted ceilings. It also has a chef’s kitchen with premium countertops, a patio and a two-car garage (though, judging by the listing photographs, you’d have to jack one car up on its front tires to fit another).
