Financial News: Morgan Stanley CEO: ‘There’s nothing good about Brexit’

Morgan Stanley loves London life but Brexit could mean a new European HQ for the Wall Street titan.

Speaking in an interview Tuesday with Bloomberg Television, James Gorman said his bank loved the financial ecosystem in the U.K. capital but warned things would have to change after Brexit.

“From our perspective, just narrowly from the financial sector and from our institution, there’s nothing good about Brexit. … Now we’re going to have to have our headquarters in Europe, in addition,” he said.

He said the bank would be moving employees and their families from London, though stressed it was trying to minimize the number of staff that would have to leave.
