Mansion Global: Posh sweet home: Aston Martin unveils luxury Miami highrise

James Bond could now top the Aston Martin DB5 sports car that he totaled in 1964 with an even posher asset — an Aston Martin penthouse in Miami.

The British luxury vehicle company, which was featured prominently in the Bond film “Goldfinger,” announced its first foray into the real estate market Wednesday. Aston Martin has teamed up with Argentinian architects the Coto family to build a 66-floor luxury residential tower on the last undeveloped site on downtown Miami’s waterfront.

The tower will contain 390 condominiums, and be located at 300 Biscayne Boulevard Way, at the mouth of the Miami River. The building will offer panoramic views of the Biscayne Bay and leave an indelible mark on the Miami skyline when it opens in 2021, the company said in its announcement.
