Here’s what Washington and the rest of the country have to look forward to if Hillary Clinton wins the White House next month: years of probes into her record by House Republicans.

In an interview with the Washington Post, House Oversight Committee Chairman Jason Chaffetz, a Utah Republican, described a “target-rich environment” in a Clinton presidency. “Even before we get to Day One, we’ve got two years’ worth of material already lined up. She has four years of history at the State Department, and it ain’t good,” he said. Brian Fallon, a Clinton spokesman, said Chaffetz threatened to “ignore the public’s clear desire for the two parties to work together.
