You will have to put up with robocalls for awhile longer

Solutions for the massive robocall epidemic in the U.S. are coming, but not soon enough, according to the Federal Communications Commission and some consumer advocates.

After two months of discussions and more than 100 meetings, the Robocall Strike force, a group composed of more than 30 major telecom companies dedicated to combating robocalls, answered the FCC’s call to fight the problem. The group, made up of companies including AT&T T, -0.03% Google GOOGL, +0.27% Apple AAPL, -0.66% LG and Samsung, presented its plan for change this week, which included expanded consumer education and tools to be implemented to block calls.
