The Margin: Remembering sportscaster Craig Sager and his most garish outfits

Craig Sager, a legendary sportscaster known for his outlandish wardrobe, died Thursday at 65. Sager had been battling leukemia since being diagnosed in 2014.

Though his career started in 1972 and spanned the world of sports — he covered the Olympics, World Cup and interviewed Hank Aaron on the field after his record-setting 715th home run in 1974 — Sager was best known for his work as a sideline reporter for Turner Sports’ TV coverage of the National Basketball Association. He spent 26 years working the NBA on TNT, and was inducted into the Sports Broadcasting Hall of Fame on Tuesday.
