The Moneyologist: Moneyologist update: Did this woman decide to evict her disabled sister from the family home?

MarketWatch is catching up with some of the most popular and controversial letters of 2016.

In the second of six updates, Sandra wrote to say she wanted her learning disabled sister to live in an assisted living facility and leave their family home so she could sell it. (Read the first Moneyologist all-star update here.)

Sandra’s sister has a learning disability and she wants to sell their family home when their parents die. “I have a 52-year-old sister with mental retardation living with my 75-year-old mom and 73-year-old dad,” she wrote. “Upon the death of the second parent, I’m pretty sure my sister will resist moving to an assisted living facility or group home.
