The Ratings Game: Tiffany’s stock clobbered as latest executive departure startles investors

Tiffany & Co. shares slid 2.5% Monday as investors digested news of yet another executive departure, this time of Chief Executive Frederic Cumenal, who had held the role since April 2015.

The move comes after the exits of design director Francesca Amfitheatrof in January and of Chief Finance Officer Ralph Nicoletti last May, and follows recent financial results that the company described as disappointing in the statement announcing the news.

It also comes in the wake of the departures last week of the CEO of Ralph Lauren Corp. RL, +0.47% and the CFO of Under Armour Inc. UA, -0.27% , making for a busy period in executive moves.
