Market Snapshot: U.S. stocks line up more losses as investors lock gaze on Yellen, Fischer

Stock futures pointed to more losses for Wall Street on Friday, as investors waited to hear from Janet Yellen and other Federal Reserve officials, looking for confirmation of a March interest rate hike.

Dow Jones Industrial Average futures YMH7, -0.06% slid 51 points, or 0.2%, to 20,955, while S&P 500 futures ESH7, -0.14% fell 7.1 points, or 0.3%, to 2,374,75. Nasdaq-100 futures NQH7, -0.17% dropped 14.25 points, or 0.3%, to 5,350.50.

On Thursday, a slide in financial shares helped drag the Dow industrials DJIA, -0.53% 112.58 points, or 0.5%, lower to close at 21,002.97.
