The Wall Street Journal: Tom Brady’s missing Super Bowl jersey found in Mexico

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady’s missing Super Bowl LI jersey has been recovered, the NFL announced Monday.

Brady reported that his jersey was stolen from his bag in the Patriots locker room after the Feb. 5 game at NRG Stadium in Houston. According to Houston Police Chief Art Acevedo, the missing piece of memorabilia, valued at $500,000, made it all the way to Mexico.

“Our investigators developed information from an informant here in Houston that led them to Mexico,” Acevedo said during Monday’s news conference. “As a result of that investigation, we were able to work with the FBI and Mexican authorities to respond to the suspect’s known location and look for the jersey.
