Fed’s admission may have set up a down move for stocks

U.S. stock futures pointed to a slightly higher open on Thursday, after the biggest one-day reversal for equities in more than a year, which was triggered in part by the Federal Reserve’s admission that it will start unwinding its balance sheet sooner than expected.

Also weighing on investors’ minds were concerns that the U.S. administration’s tax-reform plans will take longer than expected, as were jitters over a meeting between President Donald Trump and his Chinese counterpart Xi Jinping.
