The New York Post: A pro baseball stadium in Seattle just put toasted grasshoppers on the menu

A pro baseball ballpark in Seattle is serving up crispy fried grasshoppers — calling it a food trend that’s sure to have legs.

Safeco Field, where the Mariners play, hired popular Seattle Chef Ethan Stowell to create a trendy new menu , the local news site Mynorthwest.com reported.

Aside from traditional treats like popcorn, it features tacos with crispy fried grasshoppers and other off-the-wall snacks such as fried oysters drizzled in with hot sauce, Stowell told the site.
