The domestic problems faced by whoever lives in the White House may be bigger than any one president and, studies suggest, have escalated over the past decade. President Trump, just like Barack Obama, entered office with great expectations and, in some cases, even greater promises.

Trump has already had some high-profile setbacks — his two travel bans, which have been temporarily halted by two federal court judges, and his attempt to repeal and replace Obamacare, which was pulled before Congress was expected to vote it down.
