Attorney General Jeff Sessions, here touring the border with Mexico near the Port of Nogales in April, is now interviewing candidates to replace the fired James Comey as FBI director.

The list of candidates to lead the FBI continued to grow Saturday, as Attorney General Jeff Sessions interviewed five potential replacements for the ousted James Comey.

Adam Lee, the special agent in charge of the FBI’s Richmond, Va., office, was the latest to join a roster that is expected to balloon to as many as a dozen names.

“We can make a fast decision,” President Trump said Saturday morning. A nomination could be announced by Friday — the day he departs for Saudi Arabia on his first foreign trip.
