Outside the Box: This may be the biggest financial mistake millennials are making

Millennials have redefined restlessness in the workplace.

Fully 21% have changed jobs in the past year — triple the rate of previous generations. Less than half see themselves working at the same place a year from now. And on average, millennials can expect to have four different jobs by the time they are 32 years old.

What are the personal implications for this generation of more than 75 million job-hoppers? The idea of a pension for long service with an employer seems unlikely. And as young people begin their working career, thinking about the future is not a huge priority.
