The Wall Street Journal: Jared Kushner will cooperate in probe over Russian interference in U.S. election

WASHINGTON — An attorney for senior White House aide Jared Kushner said Thursday that Kushner would cooperate with any investigations into meetings he had with Russians, amid a federal probe into Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election.

Kushner’s attorney, Jamie Gorelick, said in a statement: “Mr. Kushner previously volunteered to share with Congress what he knows about these meetings. He will do the same if he is contacted in connection with any other inquiry.”

Kushner hasn’t been contacted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, people familiar with the investigation said. One person familiar with the investigation said Kushner’s contacts with Russians have been scrutinized by federal investigators for months.
