The Wall Street Journal: Shooting leaves 28 wounded at lounge in Arkansas capital city Little Rock

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. — Police here are investigating a nightclub shooting that left 28 people wounded after an apparent dispute erupted at a concert.

“We do not believe this was an act of terror, nor do we believe it was an active-shooter situation,” said Little Rock Police Chief Kenton Buckner at a news briefing early Saturday.

All of the victims, 25 of whom were shot, survived, and the most seriously injured person, who was previously listed in critical condition, was upgraded to stable, Little Rock police reported on their official Twitter account.

Kenton said the shooting early Saturday morning at the Power Ultra Lounge appears to have happened after “some sort of dispute broke out between individuals that were inside.
