President Donald Trump was assailed by critics Sunday after tweeting that the U.S. may form a cybersecurity partnership with Russia to defend from future election hacking, with Sen. Lindsey Graham saying he’s “dumfounded.”

In a tweetstorm Sunday morning, Trump fought back against criticisms of how he mishandled the G-20 meeting in Germany and his private talk with Russian President Vladimir Putin. Trump called the summit “a great success,” and said Putin “vehemently denied” Russian meddling in last year’s presidential election — despite the overwhelming conclusions of the U.S.
