As Sean Spicer may soon find out, deciding to walk can be a tumultuous experience.

Spicer, who was the White House press secretary, gave his notice after disagreeing with President Donald Trump’s choice to appoint New York financier Anthony Scaramucci as communications director. Spicer may want to turn to the examples set by other Trump administration officials who have departed either by choice or after getting fired, as in the case of former Federal Bureau of Investigation director James Comey.
