That’s what the Republican Party’s 2012 presidential nominee, Mitt Romney, says President Donald Trump should do in the wake of his responses to the violence in Charlottesville, Va. After angering both the left and the right with his comments that “both sides” were to blame, Romney says Trump should state there is “no conceivable comparison or moral equivalency” between Nazis and counterprotesters.

‘He should address the American people, acknowledge that he was wrong, apologize. State forcefully and unequivocally that racists are 100% to blame for the murder and violence in Charlottesville.
