NFL star J.J. Watt of the Houston Texans has raised $2 million in two days for Harvey victims

One of the best players on the Houston Texans, defensive end J.J. Watt, set out to raise $200,000 for Harvey victims on Sunday. He started with $100,000 of his own money.

“I want to start fundraising because I know these recovery efforts are going to be massive,” Watt said at the time.

He ended up raising the $200,000 in just two hours and raised the goal to $500,000. He raised $2 million by Tuesday afternoon, which then quickly went to $3 million when the owner of a rival team, the Tennessee Titans, added $1 million. His new goal is $4 million via youcaring.com.
