Tim Cook tweets support for ‘Dreamers,’ says 250 work for Apple

Tim Cook, chief executive of Apple Inc. AAPL, +0.03% , again voiced his support for “Dreamers” — the children of undocumented immigrants — on Sunday, saying 250 of them work for Apple.

“They deserve our respect as equals and a solution rooted in American values,” Cook said in a tweet.

Later Sunday, Laurene Powell, the widow of Apple co-founder Steve Jobs, retweeted Cook’s message, adding: “We stand together with #DREAMers at Apple and across the country.
