Emmys 2017: Here are the top 5 races to watch

Those who write about and work in Hollywood often argue that some of the best work on screen today is being done on television. This weekend, the Television Academy will award the best of the best at the 69th Emmy Awards. (See the list of Emmy nominations here.)

If there’s one criticism of TV today, it’s that there’s too much of it. The industry may very well be in a content bubble. New internet TV and streaming platforms, all vying for exclusive quality content, continue to add pressure on the industry.
