Capitol Report: Democrats press to release their own FBI memo | Congress returns with just days to avoid shutdown

Democrats on the House Intelligence Committee are expected to push for a vote Monday to release their memo rebutting allegations of Federal Bureau of Investigation surveillance abuses in a memo by their Republican counterparts.

CNN reports Democrats plan to offer a motion at a committee business meeting to release their memo. If approved, the matter would be sent to President Donald Trump, who would have five days to object to its release.
