The last few days have been hairy for millions of investors. The Dow Jones Industrial Average DJIA, -4.15% and the S&P 500 SPX, -3.75% each fell more than 4% on Monday, marking the biggest one-day percentage decline since August 2011, but rebounded by 2.3% Tuesday in volatile trading as the market digested the events of the last 24 hours.
