Disney hikes admission prices for Florida, California theme parks

The Magic Kingdom is getting a little more expensive to enter.

Walt Disney Co. DIS, +1.72% on Sunday announced it was raising admission prices to its Disney World theme park in Orlando, Fla., and Disneyland in Anaheim, Calif.

A ticket for “value” days at Disney World will now cost $109 for adults and $103 for children, the Associated Press reported, up $2 each. Tickets for “regular” days will rise by $4, to $119 for adults and $113 for kids. “Peak” days will now cost $129 for adults, and $123 for kids, up $5.

At Disneyland, ”regular” day prices will rise $7, to $117, and “peak” tickets will jump $11, to $135.
