American businesses overwhelmingly think that the Trump tax cuts will have a positive impact on their firms, according to a survey of executives released Monday by the Institute for Supply Management.

“We suspect that there will be a ripple effect among our industry,” from increased confidence, one executive who served many sectors said.

“Thus we should see an uptick in business as it releases to quotes, quote conversions to orders, and product delivery,” the executive said.

On Monday, President Donald Trump said the tax cuts have been “unbelievably popular” and have “stirred” American business.
