Key Words: Trump seizes on tweets by Facebook executive as proof Russia didn’t tilt election to him

A top Facebook advertising executive expressed “excitement” over special counsel Robert Mueller’s indictment of Russian individuals and other entities Friday, stating that the company FB, -1.44% had shared its information on ads placed by Russians with congressional investigators, with Mueller’s team and with the public.

Further, Rob Goldman said in a series of threaded tweets on a nonverified Twitter account, that most Russian ad spending occurred after the U.S. election in November 2016 and that “swaying the election was *NOT* the main goal.”
