The New York Post: Mar-a-Lago media shuttle driver found in possession of firearm

The White House replaced all the drivers shuttling the press around Mar-a-Lago after one of them was detained for having a gun in his luggage during a security screening.

The driver said it was his personal weapon and he had forgotten to leave it behind in his own car before getting ready to drive the press pool Monday morning.

The driver was detained before the press connected with the motorcade that took President Trump to the Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach around 9 a.m., according to a pool report.

Before then, it was anything but a typical day at Mar-a-Lago.
