After Parkland shooting, Americans divided over companies breaking ties with NRA

None of the partner brands that broke ties with the NRA has yet had consumers’ perception of the company pass a statistically significant threshold.

The surge of companies cutting ties with the National Rifle Association has generated plenty of buzz among consumers, but it hasn’t necessarily changed how people feel about those companies. Despite President Trump’s support, consumers don’t appear to have changed their minds.

If they were for gun control before the latest tragedy, their advocacy has strengthened. But supporters of the Second Amendment seem not have swayed.

More than a dozen major companies took action in the week since the high school shooting in Parkland, Fla.
