The Wall Street Journal: ‘Modern Family, ‘Family Guy’ producers say they’re ‘disgusted’ and ‘embarrassed’ to work for Fox

Two of 21st Century Fox’s top television producers spoke out against Fox News’s commentary on the Trump administration policy separating children from their parents at the border, saying they are embarrassed to work at the company that owns the cable news channel.

Steve Levitan, the creator of “Modern Family,” and Seth MacFarlane, creator of “Family Guy,” criticized the remarks Fox News commentators have made in support of the policy. Fox anchor Laura Ingraham compared the detention centers where children are being housed to “summer camp.”

“I’m disgusted to work at a company that has anything whatsoever to do with Fox News,” Levitan tweeted Tuesday, adding that the channel’s opinion shows are the opposite of what his sitcom “Modern Family” stands for.
