President Donald Trump, right, and President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker are scheduled to meet in Washington on Wednesday, with trade on the agenda.

European Commission chief Jean-Claude Juncker is prepared to discuss two options for the EU-U.S. trade relationship when he meets with President Donald Trump on Wednesday, the New York Times reports, citing a senior European official.

The first, writes the Times, is an agreement that would have all major global automobile exporters slash their tariffs on foreign cars. And the second calls for a limited trade deal between Europe and the U.S. centered on industrial goods.
