The New York Post: Trump accuses Cohen of lying about hush-money payments

President Donald Trump said Tuesday his former attorney Michael Cohen was “lying” when he testified that he coordinated with Trump to pay hush money to women before the 2016 election.

In August, Cohen copped to two campaign finance violations, saying he and Trump paid two women — believed to be porn star Stormy Daniels and Playboy model Karen McDougal — “for the purpose of influencing the election.”

But Trump said Cohen’s claim was “totally false” in an interview with the Associated Press.

Trump dismissed Cohen, who worked for him for years, as a “PR person who did small legal work.
