The Wall Street Journal: Software firm CDK names former Intel chief Brian Krzanich its CEO

Former Intel Corp. chief Brian Krzanich has found a new job in the technology sector.

CDK Global Inc. CDK, -7.59% , which makes software for auto dealerships, on Wednesday said it hired Krzanich as its new president and chief executive officer. He will also join the software company’s board. Krzanich succeeds Brian MacDonald, who had served as CEO since March 2016. Both men will work together during a transitional period, CDK said

CDK, which has a stock-market capitalization of about $7.4 billion, has customers in more than 100 countries and generated about $2.28 billion of revenue in its last fiscal year.
