Paul Manafort, Donald Trump’s former campaign manager, reportedly met multiple times with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange, including around the time he joined the campaign.

The Guardian reported Tuesday that Manafort went to see Assange in 2013, 2015 and in the spring of 2016 inside the Ecuadorian embassy in London, though it was unclear what they discussed. Manafort joined the Trump campaign in late March 2016.

The meetings came before WikiLeaks released Democratic emails stolen by Russian intelligence officers.
