Economic stresses from Europe to Asia continue to stoke fears that a global slowdown could spread to the U.S. and wreak havoc in the stock market. But Josh Brown, CEO of Ritholtz Wealth Management, isn’t losing any sleep over it.

Instead, Brown sees a U.S economy that’s showing no sign of catching a contagion.

“The consumer is on fire. The small-business owner is on fire,” he said on CNBC on Monday.
