The Wall Street Journal: Barr agrees to testify before Congress, but won’t commit to timeline to release Mueller report

WASHINGTON — House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jerrold Nadler, D-N.Y., said Attorney General William Barr agreed Wednesday to testify before Congress soon but didn’t say when he would share the special counsel’s report with lawmakers.

Nadler said that during a 10-minute phone call Wednesday with Barr, the attorney general said he would testify before Congress but wouldn’t commit to a timeline for providing lawmakers the unredacted report submitted to the Justice Department by special counsel Robert Mueller last week

Nadler, along with top Democrats, had asked to see the full report by next week, and said Barr didn’t commit to making that deadline.
