Brexit Brief: May and Corbyn continue talks after no-deal bill passes by one vote

The U.K.’s governing Conservative Party and opposition Labour Party are set to hold further talks on Brexit on Thursday, after MPs passed a bill that would legally rule out a no-deal Brexit by just a single vote.

Prime Minister Theresa May said she wanted to secure a common Brexit approach with Labour’s leader Jeremy Corbyn ahead of the an EU summit next week, where she has said she would request a delay to the U.K.’s scheduled exit from the EU on April 12.

During this extension, May would seek to pass the necessary legislation before May 23, so the U.K.
