This is the biggest threat for toddlers this summer

It’s a tragedy no family wants to experience, and yet it’s happening every year by the hundreds.

A report from the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) released Thursday cites 363 pool-or-spa-related drowning incidents of children under the age of 15 every year from 2014 to 2016, 74% of which were children under five. Drowning tops the list of unintentional deaths of one to four-year-old children in the U.S., the report wrote. Transportation related injuries are among the leading causes of deaths for children five to 19 years old.

Several celebrity families in recent years have fallen victim to these accidents.
