Amazon responds to Biden on taxes: Amazon.com Inc. AMZN, -0.27% and Joe Biden have engaged in a back-and-forth on Twitter about the tech giant’s tax payments, as the Democratic presidential frontrunner highlighted a report saying the company paid $0 in corporate taxes last year.

Biden tweeted: “I have nothing against Amazon, but no company pulling in billions of dollars of profits should pay a lower tax rate than firefighters and teachers. We need to reward work, not just wealth.”

Amazon responded to the former vice president with the following tweet, saying it assumes his complaint is with the tax code rather than with the company:
