Economic Report: Blame the wealthy: Consumer sentiment weakens in June on tariff concerns

The numbers: The University of Michigan said the final reading of its consumer sentiment index in June was 98.2, down from the 100 reading in May.

Economists polled by MarketWatch expected a 98 reading, as the preliminary reading for June was 97.9.
